This parody seemed to be all over the place...using a lot of the original words is always a sore thumb for me. But this was a very difficult song to parody, so I give you lots of credit for that.

Give it a rest Aggie, a lot of your parodies are mediocre as well. I don't know why you persist as some self appointed parody critic who writes more commentary than actual parodies. You come off as a pompous azz who tells others how to improve their works when your own are so often found lacking! I'm 5ing this just to counter your idiotic comment.Btw, stop pandering to the artsy fartsy crowd here. Your routine is becoming tiresome and at face value is a pathetic cry for attention you don't receive on your own parody threads.

(Artistry) Pretty good parody, though it didn't quite have the "desperate" vibe hinted at in the opening comment. I agree with Agri about the re-used words, but it could've been worse (you could've swiped entire lines without changing the context). 555 Nielsen ratings!
