Original Song Title:

"Peaches"

Parody Song Title:

"Creatures"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Things are different out in the sticks.
Livin' in the country
Gotta eat a lot of creatures
I live out in the country
I'm gonna eat me a lot of creatures
To live out in the country
You gotta catch and eat some creatures
Welcome to the country
Can I offer you some creatures?

Creatures live in the woods
And they're tasting pretty good
But olfactories they hurt
And if I hunted ev'ryday
Have a creature-stocked buffet
Sun-drying jerky for de-ssert

Livin' in the country
Gonna snack on lots of creatures
Way out in the country
Gonna trap me heaps of creatures
To live out in the country
You gotta catch and eat some creatures
Welcome to the country
Be your creature catchin' teacher

I caught a little mouse with some Quickie-Mart swiss
It's a tempting treat to resist
Chew-chew rain is a'comin'
I hear a grumble down inside
Ain't a rabbit hole where a beast can hide
Nature's drive-thru in a pan or Ma's potpie

Millions of creatures, creatures to eat
Millions of creatures, creatures are meat
Millions of creatures, creatures to eat
Millions of creatures, featured as treats
Chow down!

[instrumental break]

Millions of creatures, creatures to eat
Millions of creatures, creatures retreat
Millions of creatures, creatures to eat
Millions of creatures, creatures extinct
What now!?

Not too bad. A little different than the original because instead of eating fruit you're eating meat but I wish you went all out with the crazy hunter type of guy because I think that would of been a lot funnier.

It seemed like a different PUSA song, rather than a parody, y'know? Seemed more like a surreal dream than a satire or character sketch. I think you were trapped by the OS format in its repetitiveness. It was interesting and funny, but I am not at all sure for the reasons you were going for.

(Artistry) Some folk'll never eat a skunk, but then again, some folk'll...great concept, but some polishing to eliminate the original song's repetitiveness would've been great. As is, though, still 555 roadkill-burritos.

This one seems to almost write itself! Here's some 5s for a funny ride, now pass me some of that bbq creature...

I have to agree with Grim that this could easily work as a whole different PUSA song (I mean they have songs called Boll Weevil, Truckstop Butterfly, and Kitty!) The concept could have been pushed a little further, but overall a pretty solid spoof.
