The Lyrics

"Here Come the Snakes" is a song by Every Ape and His Brother, being the fifth track on the lyrical album Poss Window. It should not be confused with Crooked Fingers' song from 2001 by the same name, off their album "Bring on the Snakes." The Every Ape version is a parody of "Here Comes the Rain" as performed by The Mavericks, and reiterates the plot to "Snakes on a Plane." It was written in 2012, as a sixth anniversary celebration of the release of "Snakes on a Plane" in theaters.
1. T'was leaving / Hawaii!
To visit LA!
Reached 30,000 feet!
What can I say?

And then that timer went to zero!
And soon now we will be gone!

(Chorus)

Here come the snakes!
Slithering towards me!

They've hijacked the plane!
This is insane!
They're attacking!

Taipans will bite!
There is nowhere to go!

Big metal tube!
We'll meet / our doom!
No pilot, yo!

Here come the snakes!

2. Asian thugs were scheming!
Were in a legal bind!

And they kind of thought that!
Snakes are so unkind!

And just like that;
They'd bring us all down!

It is not so funny now!

(Repeat chorus) x 2

(Trail)

[Here come the snakes] x 4
