The Lyrics

I believe the war in Iraq was really, justified
I believe Michelle Leslie and her faith were just a lie
I believe all farmers really need our helping hand
I believe in praying for Christian living in Islam lands
I believe Sharpelle Corby should be set free
I believe abortion is the greatest crime in history

I believe that Jesus is the Savior of Man
I believe a world peace is capable in all our lands
I believe we all must unite to stop the spread of hate
I believe in banning nuclear weapons before it is just too late

I believe that gay rights have really really gone too far
I believe you get away with murder when you are a celebrity star
I believe we all must fight for Democracy
I believe we must work out a plan to set the poor free
I believe we must support abstinence to stop the curb of aids
I believe as a world we must unite under world free trade

I believe that Jesus is the Savior of Man
I believe a world peace is capable in all our lands
I believe we all must unite to stop the spread of hate
I believe in banning nuclear weapons before it is just too late

I believe that love can truly melt the hardest man
I believe that China needs a Human, Rights Plan
I believe Evolution is just a stupid theory
I believe death is not the end of me

I believe that Jesus is the Savior of Man
I believe a world peace is capable in all our lands
I believe we all must unite to stop the spread of hate
I believe in banning nuclear weapons before it is just too late

DKTOS, but hey, power to ya for saying what you believe. I've tried praying but at best it only brings internal change. Also, bringing your religion to others who already have one has caused a lot of problems in the past. And if you don't mind me asking, how is 'Evolution' a stupid theory?

Hmmm...I had some issues on pacing throughout the song...so I'm going to hold my vote for now. That said, it takes a big man to throw down such personal beliefs, especially on this site, where a LOT of people are most likely going to disagree with a lot of what you say. I hope that folks aren't too hard on you. You're a brave soul...=) Also, I agree with this sentiment, which made me smile:

"I believe that love can truly melt the hardest man..."

If nothing else, it worked for me, on Mr. Pacholek...; )

Thanks for the comments. To 2nz: I just get annoyed that many schools teach Evoluton not as a theory but as absolute proof, when it has been proven to be aq luke warm theory. Arwen: We like u said its my opinions and values so if someone is gonna come and trash the song cause they dont agree than its there problem not mine. I have noticed alot of left wing stuff gets praises in this room and that i notice christians get mocked alot in some songs, but i wouldnt leave vile messages on theres so i hope they can just be as respectful. Again ty both

My disagreements with your beliefs aside, I would think that someone who believes "we all must unite to stop the spread of hate" might be more tolerant on gay rights. This is only one reason why you find "Christians" getting mocked on this site. Finally, "creationism" has never been proven - some might call it myth.

I cannot support something that is morally wrong. Well the same can be said for Evolution As for Christians getting mocked you may wanna take a closer look at other faiths, Judasim, Islam, Christanity, Scientology, Catholics, Mormoms, JW's, etc all denouce homosexuality lifestyles, so intead of writing parodies just mocking Christians why not add one of them once in awhile

What is the deal with Americans and "Creationism" anyway?
