Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

No explanation is really needed, unless you've never heard of this little book called The Da Vinci Code. Louvre is pronounced "LOOV-ruh" and in the first chorus, Mona is pronounced "Mo-NUH" for pacing reasons. But if you listen to TOS, you can probably gather all of that. Bon Appetite!
This book's so controversial
P*ssed off the Cath-o-lics
The buzz is universal
This film's gonna make 'em sick

(Brief instrumental break)

Bob Langdon's got a mission
To find out who killed some man
Look at the man's position
The Vi-tru-vi-an Man

It's possible the clues will help Bob find the Holy Grail
He'll find a major cover up that will make the Christians wail
And he'll be condemned to hell! Come On!

[CHORUS:]
Written by Dan Brown
He's wrote The Da Vinci Code... Duh!
His words will make you frown
Leo Da Vinci Code... Duh!
Mo-na would bow her head
If she lived to hear-ear the plot... Yeah!
She would blush and frown
Readin' Da Vinci Code... Duh! Come On!
Readin' Da Vinci Code... Duh! Come On!
She's readin' Da Vinci Code... Duh!

(Brief instrumental break)

I have-n't read the book yet
And I haven't seen the film
Some guy is killed at the Paris Louvre
He must've died in Da Vinci pose

Some nutcase thinks that Jesus Christ and Mary had a son
But that makes me think of all the drugs he must be on
His hypothesis is wrong

[CHORUS:]
Where's the Holy Grail?
Read the Da Vinci Code... Duh!
The novel now on sale
Titled Da Vinci Code... Duh!
This book I haven't read
And the film's reviewed like a polka
Langdon's down and out
Breaking Da Vinci Code... Duh! Come On!
Breaking Da Vinci Code... Duh! Come On!
He's breaking Da Vinci Code... Duh!

(Brief instrumental break)

It's possible the clues will help ya find the Holy Grail
You'll find a major cover up that will make the Christians wail
And you'll be condemned to hell! Oh yeah!

[CHORUS:]
Bob might do some time
Committing "Da Vinci" murder
He'll find who did the crime
Breakin' Da Vinci Code... Duh!
This book I haven't read
Didn't I already tell you? Uhhh...
He will sure find out
Breakin' Da Vinci Code... Duh! Come On!

If you are devout
You'll hate The Da Vinci Code... Duh!
The theories you will doubt
Readin' Da Vinci Code... Duh!
"The film is devil-bred,"
You will say before it is over
It will p*ss you off
Readin' Da Vinci Code... Duh! Come On!
Seein' Da Vinci Code... Duh! Come On!
You're breakin' Da Vinci Code... Duh!

[Ad libs]
Mona, Mona, Mona, Da Vinci Code-a! Yeah! C'mon!

(Brief instrumental break)

C'mon!

(Brief instrumental break)

Breakin' Da Vinci Code... Duh!

Breakin', breakin', breakin' Da Vinci Code-a
Da-Leo Leonardo Da V!

I'm sorry to say, but i found this parody really dull. It is true that the contraversy around it is dumb and should be mocked, your song didn't do it well. I suggest you see the movie or read the book before you attempt something like this. After all, the main character in the book is Robert Langdon, and the Mona Lisa isn't really that big of a deal in the movie. All in All u get 3/3/3 just keep trying

Nice rhymes with the OS. In fact, you chose a brilliant OS to work with! (wink wink) 545

Love it. The book's stupid, the film's pointless, but lots of idiots are buyin' it. Idiots.

lol, How to I really feel? For one thing this song is wrong. Secondly everybody goest o see the movie, and basically misses what teh book is trying to say. They miss all the coll things i attempt to teach in the book, phi, fibanocci sequence, all the art work. People just go to see the movie and attempt to understand teh contraversy. It;s stupid because Mary Magdalene may or may not have married Jesus Christ, It's a story thats been around for ages. Not to mention its fictional. Da Vinci was a prankster, so how do we know that he didn't purposley put a women in his last supper drawing? or How do we know that he was putting a secret message in his art work. The only time we're gonna know this is when we die. So un till then enjoy the fiction that is the Da Vinci code
