Yes I believe we put Neil + others on the Moon. I'm too young to really remember that but I do remember many other manned + unmanned flights. I even got to witness 3 launches - 2 of Space Shuttles and one of a French communications satellite. I love REM and your respectful parody too. When Neil died I was at a free concert of Joan Jett + the Blackhearts in Ohio.The Moon was very bright in the night time sky but I heard and knew ZILCH about the passing away of it's first visitor. The next day the front page of the Sunday paper was festooned with the GOP coronation pomp + circumstance + crap and Neil's death was reported at the BOTTOM of the page! Neil is a historical giant and this political swill will not matter in the long run. Last year the 50th annivarsary of Yuri Gagarin becoming the first person ever to go to space didn't get as much attention in the American media as it should've. I don't care if he was a Russkie, he also is a historical giant - the FIRST. He was amazing, Neil Armstrong was amazing, and your parody of a hit by the amazing REM is amazing itself. Neil is a hero just like Yuri and they will be missed tremendously.
