The Lyrics

This is a song spoken from the perspective of someone who doesn't like the fact that Rammstein's songs are not in English (well, most of them aren't, anyway). A recording is coming soon.
Hear a song that's really great
Then the lyrics come and irritate
Can't understand a word they sing
Don't understand a freakin' thing

Can't understand a single word
Any deep meaning goes unheard
It's all gibberish to my mind

Why can't you sing in English Rammstein?

The singer's voice is so awesome
Like a flower as it starts to blossom
His words I cannot comprehend
But gotta love this foreign music trend

Yeah sure it sounds quite really cool
But they did not teach it in my school
They thought just Spanish would be fine

Why can't you sing in English Rammstein?

Why can't you sing in English Rammstein?

People think the songs are neo nazi
Corrupting youth, unlike Yatzee
They blamed this band for Columbine

Why can't you sing in English Rammstein?

Why can't you sing in English Rammstein?

Why can't you sing in English Rammstein?

Why can't you sing in English Rammstein?

Why can't you sing in English Rammstein?

Never heard of Rammstein, but thanks for informing me about NDH-Metal.

This was funny until you brought up the Columbine reference (did those dopey kids listen to them?). Congrats on being, I think, the first Rammstein parodist. (I think they are a great band, with more of a sense of humor than most people realize--wait, Germans with a sense of humor? Yes, really!)

Actually, Agrimorfee, there were other Rammstein parodies before this one. Also, there are English versions of some of their songs. Same thing with Dschinghis Khan. They sing in German, but I still enjoy them (heck, I even know all the words to Moskau), and there are English Versions of some of their songs.

Yeah, there were some other Rammstein parodies before this one, but most of them are sub-par, there was one about farts that was actually in German-had to run it through Babelfish to actually get the meaning. Also, in the version I'm "singing", I've changed some of the last parts to "My ramen noodles taste like Rammstein!", and "Singen Sie in englischem Rammstein!". The first one is just to be weird, the second one is "Sing in English Rammstein!" in German, I would've used the question/request version, but it's too many syllables plus the syntax makes "Rammstein" appear in the middle of the sentence instead of the end. Also, I'm not sure how accurate it is because it's Babelfish, but it DID go back through when I did German-English so it must be somewhat accurate. If there's any German-speakers, though, feel free to correct it for me, or offer suggestions for a better way to have it said. Also, I just came up with an idea to parody "Mein Teil" as "MySpace", although I'm not sure if I'll make it all the way through writing it, I want to make sure I can do a good job, and that there's a midi for the original song somewhere out there also.

I gave it 545, the 4 only because you don't need to speak German to look up the translations on a Rammstein fansite. And being a hardcore fan that's pretty generous of me lol. I was the one who wrote the german parody you read. Babelfish is not the most reliable way to translate what you're writing but its usually enough to get the overall meaning of something you're reading.
