The Lyrics

I was and still am hesitant to have posted this parody, due to the fact that I by no means find it's subject matter funny what-so-ever. My life has been taken advantage of and ruined at approximately the same age as Genie when hers was. 1-2 yrs. old. Also she is a feral child, but now a woman 53 yrs. old and about according to doctors 6 yrs. old mentally. I also fit VERY close to this criteria! I am feral(caused by Psychological & Sociological Malorganization, maltreatment, puerile, and savage. Due to an apparent dissociative identity disorder & Negative Schizophrenia . :-( anyways, happy reading. Hope you like it.
In the State of California
In the city of Arcadia
On November of 1970

Sat a girl on a potty chair
For 12 years of her life she sat there
Until one day she was found

They shut her in, They kept me out
They shut her up, They shut me down

She lived with her abusive dad
Who said “The world would never understand”
And before the trial, he shot himself

He started his confining her
As an attempt to protect her
Even his wife fell victim to his abuse

He shut her in, They kept me out
He shut her up, They shut me down!!

She’s a mockingbird that don’t sing
And I’m a brass-and-glass ring
But mix us together and we’ll shine

But there is no happily ever after
People fail to see how much I’m like her
They used us to run rings around

They shut her in, They kept me out
They shut her up, They shut me down

If I could grant, the wish she wanted
She could grant the wish I wanted

Wish it away, Wish it away

Oh, Oh.
I won't be upset if you comment low on the funny category, I would naturally expect that, and of course, I would net either I'd give it a 1. 0 If I could. Anyway comments are welcome ;-) Genie's birthday was on April 18th So let's all say HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUSAN "GENIE" WILEY!! :-)

Wild Child JIN - October 28, 2010 - Report this comment
Chucky: I feel that this song should be removed, this is a parody site in which songs poke fun at various topics of the user's interest. But this topic of Genie "Susan Wiley" the feral child, is by no means funny at all to me, due to the fact I am feral and savage too, and believe me, there is definitely nothing funny about that! :-(
