Parody Song Title:

The Lyrics

This parody might help you find joy in a world polluted with so much darkness.
"LOVE!"
"PATIENCE!"
"FAITH!"
"PRAYER!"
"HOPE!"

"Go Jesus!"

"Have those virtues combined. I am the Lord Jesus!"

The Lord Jesus, He's our Hero
Gonna take our vices down to zero

He is our Lord, magnified
And He's fighting on His people's side

The Lord Jesus , He's our hero
Gonna wash away our sins to zero

Gonna see Him put assunder
Satan who likes to deceive and plunder

"We'll pray to you, O Lord Jesus!"

We're children of God
You can be one too
'Cause saving our lost souls is His thing to do!
Living in sin is not the way
Hear what the Lord Jesus has to say!

"Salvation is Yours!"
Check out the Gospel of John, chapter 3, verse 16, which is found in the Good Book. If you want to learn more about our hero, the Lord Jesus, find a fun church where people have a rockin' good time. That's because church doesn't have to be so boring. Jesus loves you, and may God bless you and give you peace :-)

Anthony, Please don't EVER preach on this site again! Amiright is a recognised bible-belter free zone. You can have your faith, you can believe you're doing God's work, you can attend your churches and youth groups...just stay away from Amiright, OK? Noticed any other feedback other than mine? No? Get the message, bud...

I loved Captain Planet, and forgive me but I thought your parody was hilarious. I don't really see Jesus as a "Superhero", not even Superman. He didn't wear a silly suit and send his Planeteers/Apostles in to do all the had work so he could blast in at the last minute and take the credit.
Anyway, bless you hun, I know you have good intentions. I'm just not sure I can see Jesus bellowing impressively "Salvation is Yours!"

Keep it up, Anthony.

Mr. Allah - Your opinions are not to be found in this site's FAQs. From time to time, I have perceived some mild anti-Christian sentiment at AmiRight, but there are many Christian parodies that have been well received.

Great pacing, although it's not "funny", altough I do find it kinda funny that you used Captain Planet, anyway, 5-2-4 from me, sorry

Oh! And when Lord Jesus goes "Salvation is yours", it means that He is offering it to everyone. Your choice is to accept it as being yours (because it's a gift, not a reward), or reject it in disbelief. I cannot decide for another person, but I highly recommend accepting the gift. Any questions? Feel free to ask me or a local pastor. : -)
