The Lyrics

It hit us hard, but we can rebuild
I was getting all ready to see my votes were steady
And know that I was making the grade
Went to check my old scores
But suddenly they're no more
All of my vote counts were unmade
I will write more parodies, if Chuck brings back the votes

Where are my numbers?
What happenned with my songs?
Where are my five-point-zeroes?
Where have all the vote counts gone?

Now we all sit and wonder
What could have caused this blunder
As suddenly our scores disappeared
Losing your awards hurts
And things might up and get worse
Could the comments end up gone as I've feared?
I will leave more comments, if Chuck brings back the votes

Where are my numbers?
What happenned with my songs?
Where are my five-point-zeroes?
Where have all the vote counts gone?

No one wants to re-vote tonight
So they don't even notice me
Kiss 'em goodbye
Kiss 'em goodbye
Kiss 'em goodbye

We finally think we're ready
To start rebuilding maybe
And there's no chance of old votes to see
I made friends at the board
We need to tally up new scores
Start posting votes again every week
We will vote on parodies, and start rebiuilding hee

Where are my numbers?
What happenned with my songs?
Where are my five-point-zeroes?
Where have all the vote counts gone?
Where is the Wild Man?
Where are DiRito's puns?
We are the new beginning
Where have all the vote counts gone?
Where have all the vote counts gone?
Where have all the vote counts gone?

I kept trying to sing this to "where have all the flowers gone." I'm such an idiot. It's good once I get my act together and try to pace it to the right song!! =)

I thought it was about the 2000 election.

DKTOS, but I have the same title idea for a parody, and it´s not Arwen´s alternative either. Strange.

DKTOS, but rock on, dude.

Hee, Arwen -- I DKTOS, but I had to click out of curiosity because reading the title of this, I couldn't help but think of "...Flowers" and thought this Cole tune might just be an alternate lyric. Guess not. Might use this title though to use for a 'Flowers' bit....

Jared, I'll wait and read this after trying to write my own -- don't want to inadvertently steal any lines -- I think copping your title is enough cyber-felony for one day... ;-)
