The Lyrics

Actually, the Vandals did the original, but I figured people wouldn't know who they were.
Eddie was a singer not like anything before,
And he never had no troubles till he started wanting more fame,
Safe in the nightclubs, and profit was a steal,
But then his luck just went too far and they got a record deal,

It was a cold summer day when Scotty and his group,
Popped in for some chili and a vegetable soup,
Scotty liked the music, but not poor Eddie's voice,
So he walked up to our hero and he gave him a clear choice,

If the public bought at Christmas Day,
I know exactly what they'd say,
They'd say "Oi!" to Pearl Jam,
And "Oi!" To Creed,
But "Oi!" to the both of them and the mainstream music feeds!

Eddie was a gallant man, he accepted the fight,
He said, I will destroy you on Saturday night,
Scotty called his Mom, and she said that he may,
On top of the HMV on the eve of Christmas Day!

If the public bought at Christmas Day,
I know exactly what they'd say,
They'd say "Oi!" to Pearl Jam,
And "Oi!" To Creed,
But "Oi!" to the both of them and the mainstream music feeds!

On the roof with his vocals Scotty broke a lot of glass,
But Eddie had a different plan on how to kick his a**,
The crowd started wailing, "Remember those two, man?"
Eddie was alone and abandoned by his band,
Scotty was there dying, but still so full of crap,
When the band left him there and went down the roof gap,
Eddie saw the huge crowd screaming both their names,
So he made a vow to Scotty that he would not accept fame,
And he jumped off the roof with the last of his soul,
Now he's in the cemetery in a fairly deep hole.
I had fun with this one
