The Lyrics

I discovered the song "El Privilegio De Amar" in a Mexican karaoke bar, and since I watched a tape of the documentary "Big Bucks: The Press Your Luck Scandal" a few days before, I thought of the idea of singing "Big Bucks No Whammies" to the tune of this beautiful Spanish song.
Ed Long and Janie Litras went on Press Your Luck. The Whammy got them every time.
They didn't win that Bahammas trip or even a pool table. They didn't even win one dime.
But there was Michael Larson from Ohio who repaired air conditioners and sold ice cream.
He wore a 65-cent shirt and went on the show. Figured out the board wasn't random. You know what I mean...hey!

Big bucks no Whammies. Larson kept spinning.
How did he do it? Larson kept winning.
He studied the board and he knew how to beat it.
The CBS lawyers couldn't prove that he cheated. No...

What a way to make a buck...
Michael Larson went on Press Your Luck.

There were only a few patterns on the big board. Bill Carruthers knew that was bad.
But it wasn't until Michael Larson started spinning that they knew they'd been had.
Michael always knew when to hit the plunger because two squares always had a free spin.
Ed Long and Janie Litras were so mad at Michael 'cause there was no way that they could ever win. Hey...

Big bucks no Whammies. Larson kept spinning.
2-12-1-9-4! Larson kept winning.
He studied the board and he knew how to beat it.
Did Peter Tomarken suspect that he cheated?
Soon after he won, he was robbed and swindled.
His wife and kids left him as his savings dwindled. Oh...

What a way to lose a buck!
After Larson went on Press Your Luck.
Ken Jennings would be totally f***ed
Facing Larson on Press Your Luck.
