You get your job back, you get your wife back, you get your dog back, etc. When you play this song back the Florida Marlins team that won the World Series and then lost 108 games the following year gets all their good players back.

I called about those rookie pitchers
That we traded for this year
There must have been some penny pinchers
Who wanted to buy some beer

We were able to beat the Braves
We're no longer Major League
But at least we're Triple A.
