I see bombs-a-big, and missiles too,
I hear them boom, over Peru,

I see tears of blue, and blood of red,
Poor war-torn kids, who ain't got no beds,
And I think to myself,

Government militia send their troops into the sky,
Sadness on the faces of the people who will die,
I see countries in east doing,
The best they can do,
Big Uncle Sam says,
I want you.

I see babies cry, they've got no food,
While in the States people get into the mood,
And I think to myself,
What a horrible world,
And I say to myself,
What a horrible world,
