The Lyrics

Someone beat us to this.
Chicken's getting boring just like gum.
Burgers and hot dogs are kinda dumb.
Doesn't matter what shape,
if you put it on my plate.
Unless it's meat, yeah meat.
That special meat.

(Singin')
I love sloppy joes!
Put another heap on my plate now mommy!
I love sloppy joes!
Come and take the time and dine with me!

Ice cream's too cold, peppers are too hot.
My vegetables are starting to rot.
Doesn't matter what size.
Can't you just realize
That sloppy joes really rock,
it is meat, yeah meat.
I nead my meat
it is neat, yeah neat!

(Singin')
I love sloppy joes!
Put another heap on my plate now mommy!
I love sloppy joes!
Come and take the time and dine with me!
(Repeat)

I love sloppy joes!
Put another heap on my plate now mommy!
I love sloppy joes!
Come and take the time and dine with-

I love sloppy joes!
Put another heap on my plate now mommy!
I love sloppy joes!
Come and take the time and dine with-

I love sloppy joes!
Put another heap on my plate now mommy!
I love sloppy joes!
Come and take the time and dine with-

I love sloppy joes!
Put another heap on my plate now mommy!
I love sloppy joes!
Come and take the time and dine with me!

5,5,5! I know about tj, but who is smoms? Ah, well! Who cares?

That isn't me up there, by the way. All 5's, this is funny, but I'd rather eat chicken, in gravy, with rice. Mmmmmmmmm...

5,5,5! I LOVE sloppy joes! Apricot, were you the person who gave them 1,1,1?
Apricot - June 14, 2004 - Report this comment
I am indeed the 1,1,1. Here's why: 1. I hate Sloppy Joes. They are the scum of the earth and should be treated as such. Chicken is Awesome. 2. http://www.amiright.com/parody/2000s/blackeyedpeasfeatjustintimberlake0.shtml 3. Why? Because of http://www.amiright.com/parody/2000s/d1216.shtml 4. Spindler, you are a hypocrite and I hate you. 5. Spindler's mom, you called Ralphing a racist. I have no real beef against you, but read my comments on your "Where is the Love?" spoof and see my problem with your son.
Your Worst Nightmare - June 14, 2004 - Report this comment
Aw, come on, that's lame to give 1's for disagreeing with someone on a whole different subject. And sloppy joes ROCK.
Apricot - June 14, 2004 - Report this comment
In response you YWK, I hate Spindler because he's a hypocrite. I also hate sloppy joes. Therefore, I have nothing to love about this song, or any of Spindler's work. If he does something marvelous, I'd be honest. This song doesn't appeal to me, nor does it's author.

Hey, if Al Capone wrote a good parody, I would give it a good vote, so your opinion on the author doesn't really count. Come to think of it, if Al Capone wrote a bad parody, I would be sure to give it a good vote... Secondly, I don't think food preferences should have to do anything with it.
Apricot - June 14, 2004 - Report this comment
We think differently, YWK. If I hate your topic, and you, and didn't find the song funny, and hate the original song to begin with, I will not give a song a good vote. You have a good point, but we see things differently.

Ah, fair enough.
Michael Pacholek - June 14, 2004 - Report this comment
Can somebody explain to me why some people think a cole slaw sandwich is a "sloppy joe"? A sloppy joe is a loose meat sandwich, and -- pardon the Yogi-ism -- if I had ten of them here, I wouldn't have any of them here. For extolling the virtues of the joe sloppy, it's the real joe sloppy, all those other joe sloppies -- sorry, got carried away -- you get five grams of fat, five grams of carbs and five grams of salt! Yum, yum!
Jake A Ralphing (Luke Brattoni) - June 14, 2004 - Report this comment
4-2-3. Yes, it's cute, but to stop repeating yourself you should have changed the chorus each time, which wouldn't be that hard considering the simple pacing and braod subject of food- related stuff.
