I thought I would write a tribute to my hometown team, who has been basically nonexistant for nearly 10 years. Hopefully, things will start to look up for them.

Sometimes it seems
Like we don't have a baseball team
The O's can't win a series, wherever they may go
But now this year
There might be a playoff coming here
You know our payroll
High enough to sign free agents
And get them to play

Are those Oriole birds
Set to blow all our minds
Or is Baltimore's faith in them blind?
We were waiting for an indication
Of a feel-good time
And when we watch them play, hope for something new
I always hate to see our home team lose
Our slump is gonna finally dry up
In a few years, might be in a World Series, too

Be in first place in the AL East

To all the Yanks and Sox, better start to tear

Great job, Invincible. I live nowhere near the East Coast but it would be nice to see the Orioles (or the Red Sox, or even the D-Rays; anyone but the Yankees) finish in first this year. Anyway, 5's

I agree with the other commnets .. it rads well even if the subject is unfamiliar... where I come from, the "Os" refers to a London Soccer Team.... we are supporters but usually they don't win too much! the upside is it's easy and cheap to get tickets to watch....
