hmm... I don't think I'd heard of the "Everclear" version of this song until now it's not bad! at the risk of being called a "Brown Noser" here's some 5's!
It was recorded in 1996 and shows up on their compilation "Vegas" album as Track #13 released in 2008 IIRC! It's easier to list than the Japanese or American TV Theme Song sources ;-)
