The Lyrics

I'm at soundclick.com/badave I based my write on the album version which does differ slightly from the video version, this is because when I record it--ultimately its the album version that I'll have to record too. Also apology to The Conqueror of Parodies, as it turns out--I could have recorded that extra verse, I just misunderstood that track because it differed enough from the original that I didn't realize how to put it in there. . .sorry. Still I think it turned out very good on the recording of your version of "Blue"
Your roll is up
Kinda gory
about a wealthy guy that lived in a mansion
The hall way has dim light
and no one in the world has a clue
just whims
he died someone cried
In his house
6 detectives who's well known
One of them did it
So we get some cards and sit
With no help
And we must cover the grounds
Cuz we ain't found no body, not messing

In Clue Was it Green with a knife?
Or perhaps Mrs. White?
Miss Scarlet with a pipe?
Kernel Mustard ain't right
Was this his evil plight?
Did he struggle that night?
Mrs. Peacock is so nice

She's blue maybe she's his ex-wife?
Did she kill him for spite?
Miss Scarlet's wrench has shine
Did she clean it in time?
What is on that Plum's mind?
In that mansion he dined
Was it on dead mankind?

I found a blood stain in the dining room
But there's blood in each of these rooms I fear
Blood on all his sheets and on his curtains too
I found a noosed rope, did his face turn blue?
Blood on a candlestick that's on the ground
A used revolver near the kitchen sink
And in the ball room there are greasy stains
And what was playing--was "Lie in our Graves"

In Clue, Not much will be our guide
Just that it was inside
6 weapons that we find
But which one took his mind
The billiard room's a fright
Was he in there that night?
Did he gamble his life?

In Clue The Study's filled with mice
On the floor I see rice
Was there Chinese that night?
Was it poisoned by spies?
Just 6 choices to try
but is that how he died?
Perhaps something's not right

Inside where'd he die
Big his house
Have no clue where he died though
And no clue what with
And there just ain't no clue who slit or hanged him
And there's confusion around
cause we don't have much really to go on

New Clue, there's always dirty plights
Find the killer, alright
Why'd each detective lie?
Take a roll of the dice
Some more cards would be nice
Was he killed with some might?
or was he drunk that night?

It's clue and here's what I did find
The 6 suspects were kind
None of them come to mind
Something down the stairs blinds
So I searched there-Oh My
As it turned out he lied
Mr. Body's alive

I'm sorry to have missed all your greatest parodies as well as everybody else's! I've forgotten how much I've enjoyed your awesome satire! This made me want to play "Clue" right now. I always enjoy playing Miss Scarlet every time I would play and one of my friends and I always fight over who gets to play Miss Scarlet. Well, here goes. Right now, I suspect Professor 5 in Parlor Room # 5, with 5 pipes!

DKTOS, but liked the content. Very clever and original.

I DKTOS, but his fine parody is certainly not "Clue-less". Christie Marie - Not so fast! I believe it was Mr. Green in the Billiard Room with a pipe wrench! ;D

I accept your apology (I didn't know there were different versions of this song), and much enjoyed your parody. I like the way you fused elements of the game with actual detective-y type stuff. Now I'm in the mood to play some Cluedo (as it's called where I live because...argle fargle blargle).
