Gramps wakes up in the morning
Grabs his teeth so he can eat and he's going
Going to play checkers
Checkers ends, bingo begins

He thinks
I don't accomplish a thing
Social security is all I live on
So he goes to get a job
Bagging groceries over at Wal-Mart

Take these groceries
Place them in a cart and get in your place in time
Man that's a real long line

Goes to visit his grandkids
Has alzheimers, their names he forgets them
But remembers he is old, and he sometimes pees in his britches

Take those diapers
Place them in a box and put it in the trash
Gramps has a diaper rash
Repeat

Driving here on this highway
Cars lined up for miles behind him
They drive in every direction
Because he's driving so slowly

Take his license
Cut them up and throw them in the trash
Gramps caused a big car crash
