The Lyrics

This is my first try of making a parody. I tried to follow the original version of the song. I hope its okay if some lines remained unchanged, cause they made sense in the way they were, but who am I to judge, so feel free to rate my parody and write comments.
Student's Paradise

As I walk through the alley towards grocery store,
I take a look at my purse and realize there's not much left
Cause I've been drinking beer for so long that,
Even my belly looks like I've swallen a ball
But I never cooked a dinner even if I was starving
A student without beer - You know that's unheard of
I'd better check my ISIC, or think of loaning
Or I might be the next who starves to death
I really hate to beg, but I have to eat
So I'm passing round the hat in a street...fool
I'm the kinda Student no one wants to be like
On my knees day and night counting coins that are still left

Our parents spent 5 years living in the student's paradise
We keep spending 4 more years living in the student's paradise
Our parents spent 5 years living in the student's paradise
We keep spending 4 more years living in the student's paradise

Look at the situation, I got no money
I can't live a normal life, I suffer from famine
So I got to depend on my roommates
Too much overspending action got me chasing alms
I'm a educated fool with no money in my hand
I have a empty ISIC in my hand and a grin on my chin
I'm a spendthrift, also I'm a bum
And my finances broke, so please don't come to beg...fool
Weekend nothing but a 4 days away
I'm living life dreaming of a home-cooked meal
I have 21 bucks but will I ever have 22
I need it for a discount fare to home

Tell me why are we so blind to see
That the way we live is self-demolishing.

Our parents spent 5 years living in the student's paradise
We keep spending 4 more years living in the student's paradise
Our parents spent 5 years living in the student's paradise
We keep spending 4 more years living in the student's paradise

Lecture in the morning, others after lunch
Workshop after workshop, test after test
Everybody's running, back and forth in city
Lecturers are dumb, that's what's really pity
They say I've got to learn but nobody's here to teach me
If they feel unsecured, so how can they teach me
I think they can't
I think they won't
I think they don't
That's why I know my life is out of luck...fool

Our parents spent 5 years living in the student's paradise
We keep spending 4 more years living in the student's paradise
Our parents spent 5 years living in the student's paradise
We keep spending 4 more years living in the student's paradise

Tell me why are we so blind to see
That the way we live is self-demolishing.
Tell me why are we so blind to see
That the way we live is self-demolishing.

By the way: If someone does not know what ISIC is, then it stands for: International Student Identification Card. It is an ID card and a bank-card in one.

Hey Xray, since this is your first parody, I'll go easy on ya. Listen closely - even though words are changed in parodies, they still have to follow the rhyming scheme of the original. Parodies will sound even better if the changed words still rhyme with the original words in the important places, like at the end of or in the middle of each line. Either way, follow the rhyming scheme or the original! Singing this song to myself was unenjoyable because above of the point, although you did use a lot of creativity and the ideas were also good.
