The Lyrics

now, I know what you guys are thinking. "another food parody?" but I was listening to some Collin Raye the other night, and although I'm a Hydrox/Great Value Twist & Shout guy myself, this parody idea just seemed too obvious! please enjoy!

well the wife said “don't you even think about it!”
looks like to me this store is kinda crowded
I'm not looking for anything fattening here
but some oreos, one pack, now I'm in second gear

so I shot down to the cookie aisle
this purchase I swear, will get me so much bile
she'll ask “did you not hear words from me?”
all I'll say is “poppa’s gotta eat, and besides, I paid!”

oh, how fat can I grow? gotta buy those Mega-Stuf Oreos
some strawberry pop-tarts, and a box of ho-hos
mean the world to me, Mega-Stuf Oreos
stuff my face, candy apples & oreos

split the back right out of my old pants
when the @$$ showed through, man, folks started to laugh
was said by some weird dude “move it, you bucket of lard!”
I said “I'll call cops, if you don't leave my backyard!”

oh, how fat can I grow? gotta buy those Mega-Stuf Oreos
some strawberry pop-tarts, and a box of ho-hos
mean the world to me, Mega-Stuf Oreos
stuff my face, candy apples & oreos

now the wife is shootin’ me a glare, like I'll be dead
I guess I'm leavin’ so not to get crumbs in bed

need to buy baloney, some cheese, and some ritz
I'm admitting I can't handle these d@m^/ diets!
need a good taste-treat, to make my taste buds dance
if I have to, I'll just go out and buy new pants

oh, how fat can I grow? gotta buy those Mega-Stuf Oreos
some strawberry pop-tarts, and a box of ho-hos
mean the world to me, Mega-Stuf Oreos
stuff my face, candy apples & oreos

yeah, how fat can I grow? I've gotta have some Mega-Stuf Oreos
some strawberry pop-tarts, and a box of ho-hos
mean the world to me, Mega-Stuf Oreos
stuff my face, candy apples & oreos

Yeah! Now, how fat can I grow? I've gotta buy some Mega-Stuf Oreos
strawberry pop-tarts, and a box of ho-hos
mean the world to me, Mega-Stuf Oreos
stuff my face, candy apples & oreos
for the record, Mega-Stuf Oreos are kind of a rip-off. my brother & I like to take two creme ends from the Double Creme Twist & Shouts, and stick them together, and it winds up with A LOT more creme than the Mega-Stuf Oreos do! those Oreos just barely have more creme than a Double-Stuf! what Hydrox needs to do now, is make a Double-Creme version, and actually be sold in California, where they are made! thanks for reading!

I thought the double stuf came out in '94, was the first time I saw it. Haven't heard of Mega-Stuf before. 5's

No, the Double Stuff debuted in 1974. I was 10 and my first best friend got them. We were in cookie heaven! Maybe you are thinking of the Big Stuff oversized Oreos that came out in 1987 but we're discontinued in 1991. Mega Stuff came out in 2013. But both the Double Stuff and Mega Stuff creme content are off Double Stuff only has 1.86 times the creme and Mega Stuff only has 2.68 times the creme. Btw, until the 1990s Oreos weren't Kosher as they had pig fat in them! And the named is French for Gold-wrapped Os (Or-enveloppé-Os) due to the original gold packaging!

Good history there, thanks. I think it was the double stuf I first saw in '94 (when I was 12), just didn't know it existed before. Don't remember seeing the Big Stuff

^ thanks for the cookie history fellas! I wish to this day I had gotten to try that "Big Stuff" Oreo! ya see, the '80s really DID have the best stuff! :)

Jon, Mega Stuff is just another word for Triple Stuff! I saw a single Mega Stuff Giant Ccokie at Safeway today. It's a limited time offer. They also had the Red Velvet Oreos!

^ Mega Stuf GIANT Cookie? you mean like the size those big stuffs were? because if so, I'll have to keep an eye out for that! thanks for the tip! :)

Jon, I'm sure you know that certain bakeries will also make Oreo chocolate creme cakes! I've tried that once, but prefer Devil Dog overall.

Jon, hard to imagine that Oreos originated in 1912 and Droxies (Hydrox) in 1908! Nabisco actually stands for NAtional BIScuit COmpany!
