The Lyrics

Long explanation commences: Cat submitted this song in the Pimp-A-Song Contest created by Kristof Robinson. She noted that she had me in mind as the type of person who would get into trying to parody this wacky tune. So I have attempted to. The type of music that Cardiacs perform is described by fans as "Prunk" (progressive punk). Another web site I have consulted went so far as to say they are "The Sex Pistols Meets Genesis." So I made the narrator of my parody something like that, but a bit more depressed and pissed off. Or something.
I find I walk around with fools who do not see their lesions
They all disprove everything that I've read on evolutions
I will just kick them in the

Ask me no dumb questions, you'll receive no hesitances
Roaring like a bear now, now at my insistence
I will just pinch you on the

Assume that I'm crass boy, slacker oh so pale
You foxy twits, you're never so clever, you worms reveal
That no knowledge of your culture is the spiel

I find I walk among the tools who live out in their fictions
'Cause they are rude to me and you and live their lives for friction
They're gonna kick you in the

Association's liquor on the rail
Intoxicates you, whatever, however, let's make a deal
Is that sly Monty Hall offering me a steal?

This slice of pie will make you blind
Made on the date, we bump and grind
And wear the clothes from Old Navy
And re-dock this stage, I'm told the ravers win

Here I am, tying tie
I've been stoned for a week
Can't come down, but I try
I did it in leather, bland and deafer

Moping dope, scraping for my pay
i pray to you that all my visions take this test away
Not for me, but her fateful frown
What do I have to do to make it happy all around?

She wears mu-muus when she goes to town
And muddy waters get her soiled
She's gifted in her surgeon's gown
But bunged when Screeching Eddie's foiled.
