The Lyrics

I didn't realize this at first, but part of my song closely resembles an old episode of "The X-Files", in case there is anyone out there who like that show.
Relentlessly crouched...at the outer fence.
Nervous, kneeling, and feeling real tense.
The spotlight passes, I grit my teeth.
Laying and praying, I crawl underneath.

I quickly ran over and entered the base.
Saw flying ships from deep outer space.
Silver and silent, they glide through the air.
They started their descent, and landed with care.

As I watch the excitement, I heard a sound.
Alarm went off, and they're chasing me down.
Paranoia is present inside of my head.
Still whirring and stirring my mind as I fled.

The tackled me low and I'm finally caught.
And as I'm down, somebody gave me a shot.
Now I'm dreary and weary, and closing my eyes.
And thinking of someway to expose their lies.

I'll prove their existence.
I'll prove they are here.
They're aliens (aliens) aliens
from the fin-al frontier.

Because I'm sneaking and seeking to obtain the truth.
Their flying, denying and lying is uncouth.
I'll prove their existence........

No talking. No freedom. No friendship. No way.
They're holding me captive till I'm old and gray.
Keep making outbreaks of hate and decree.
The secret, they'll keep it a conspiracy.

But this time, I'm persistent on leaving the base.
I'm making a plan to escape from this place.
Cause I'm aiming and claiming on making it known.
You'll see me on TV and ET won't phone home.

I yelled to the guard, said I see a bright light.
And then he came, filling me up with delight.
So I fought him, and brought him down onto his knees.
I'm grabbing his weapon and his set of keys.

Cause I'll prove their existence.
I'll prove they are real.
They're aliens (aliens) aliens
That I will soon reveal.

Because I'm sneaking and seeking to proclaim the truth.
Their flying, denying and lying is uncouth.
Because I'm sneaking and seeking to proclaim the truth.
Their flying, denying and lying is uncouth.

I'll prove their existence.
I'll prove they have come.
I'll need some assistance.
I know my parody just sort of ends, so I'll finish it now. He escaped, but noone believed him, so they put him in a mental asylum where he lived for the rest of his days. And children, always remember this: if you are not part of the solution, you are part of government.

You usually do songs I don't know so I was really happy to see this one--Cake is probably my favorite current band. Anyway, very well done; well paced and fun to read. Also, if you haven't yet, check out Ethan's "The Biscuits" to this song.
