Well, I thought it was about time I contributed to the Jussie Smollett situation. It's an interesting juxtaposition to use a romantic R&B song, and turn into an angry hit piece on what it means to be a stupid criminal. Also, you could call this a contribution to Black History Month, even if it looks like it got set back from Jussie's actions.

* = Democratic candidates Booker and Harris. What, did not want any white democrat candidates to weigh in MSM? ++ = I know that this line would usually be a repeat of the last three lines from Bridge 2, but with new information that he got arrested, why not switch it up. I am looking forward to hearing in the comments below of any group wanting to cover this parody, whether live or via Karaoke.

Although I am not too familiar with the OS--and I disagree with your political edge on it--I have to admit your work is better than mine because of the relative length. Don't worry. I am sure there will be plenty of parodies about Jussie Smollett to come. One thing I found out, he is not getting paid enough on Empire. Why would any entitled millionaire from Hollywood need more money? Also, found out that Kamala Harris is actually Asian-American. She has one parent from India, and another from Jamaica, neither country from the African continent. So, why have the press misrepresent her? Sorry about going off topic. Is "Jussie's World" based on "Jessie's Girl", Ag? I was thinking of using "Jessie's Girl" in that vein, but couldn't figure out the second word. "Jussie's World" is perfect. I'll let you run with it...... Maybe I'll revisit my attempt to do "Joffrey's Girl"
All Jamaicans are descended from slaves taken from Africa, just as all multi-generation African Americans are. So calling Kamala African-American is no less accurate than calling Barack Obama African American. And many mixed ancestries who have Africa in their bloodlines go by African-American .. so no misrepresentation

Actually Jamaica, not to mention the rest of the Western Hemisphere, didn't follow Us slavery practices at all. Outside of the US, slaves were mostly used in harvesting sugar cane, a far more grueling task than cultivating cotton. Cotton harvesting was labor intensive for brief periods, but then the slaves had time to recover. Sugar cane harvesting involved hacking away at tough plants ALL THE TIME. Slaves could only manage to do this for a few years before they died and had to be replaced. This is why 97% of the 12 million slaves taken from Africa to the Western Hemisphere were sent to areas outside the US, and only 3% (400K) came to the US

What the heck is this? Chicago's DA drops the charges against Jussie? Ugghhh!!!!! This song has lost its punch and merit. Don Lemon is going to be dancing and laughing on his show with this news. Not even for mischief or a misdemeanor for wasting Cook County police resources. Orchestrating a fake hate crime. That D.A. must be an Empire fan. So, charges were dropped in return for the most candy-assed public service penalty in the history of felonies, This sweetheart deal has already been slammed by CPD superintendent Eddie Johnson, who happens to be black. Just as significant it has been slammed by Mayor Rahm Emmanuel, onetime chief of staff to Barack Obama and Dem super-operative for 30 years David Axelrod. Both these progressive dudes know the importance of credibility .. and how it just got flushed down the toilet by this deal
