The Lyrics

OS is from a crappy horror B-movie. I took the lyrics and instead of spacing them, ran them together to fit my style for this message. I think this set-up is better overall :)
HE is there and is always true
The Lord will NEVER abandon you
For you merit not a thing
And works? No points for “doing things!”
It’s all based on the Cross
The life HE lived, the blood HE lost
The Second Adam atoned for Thee
Upon another curs-ed tree
So when you’re saved, it’s eternal
Image of the Son, Father, paternal
Sealed by the Spirit until redemption
Joined to the Body for its perfection
Under Our Savior’s host protection*
Great Commission, soul redemption
So when you’re down and spirit crushed
KNOW the Lord loves you so much
And if your heart is hard as stone
The Lord will never leave you alone
For you were bought at a high price
Jesus became your sacrifice
He will NEVER leave you nor forsake you
For HE promises that HE will take you
To HIS KINGDOM that forever reigns
Gone will be the former things
Though you struggle through life’s tests
HE always knows what is best
Sins removed, no splatter like Ark mess**
As far as the East is from the West
HE will wipe away all tears
Gone will be sorrow, pain, and fears
So hold fast upon your faith
‘Cause time soon we’ll celebrate
When that trumpet at last sounds
We will be caught up to the clouds!!!

REJOICE!!!

For the End is near…
* host protection= angelic **splatter of Ark mess= OT annual sprinkling of the lamb's blood over the mercy seat of the Ark of the Covenant for 1-year forgiveness of sin (temporary until Jesus became the substitute perfect lamb of God, innocent, who went to the slaughter willingly and HIS blood doesn't cover sin, it removes it forever). Note: sins committed after salvation can cause loss of personal fellowship with God, missed blessings, hardship in discipline, sickness, even death... but salvation is NEVER in question b/c it is based on Christ and NOT you. Salvation is never merited and cannot be earned through works. All righteousness is imputed. Works come subsequent to salvation but are not required for salvation as it is a free gift of God and only the HS knows what works each of us has. The thief on the cross had no works and was in Paradise with Jesus until that compartment of the underworld was emptied with the preaching of the Gospel there. No one is lost in the First Resurrection at the Bema of Christ b/c only works are judged. There were those with no works that were saved as if by fire. Where sin abounds, so much more does grace abound. As Jesus told Paul, "my grace IS sufficient." If ONE person could lose salvation then the Cross and grace are defeated. Jesus said "I will lose NONE that the Father gives me." None means none. Period. "There are none righteous, no not one." And "Anyone that says they have no sin is a liar, the truth is not in him."
