There is a religious cult called The Family International (formerly known as the Children of God) who take the idea of a “personal relationship” with Jesus and put a very…risqué spin on it. As in, they actually imagine Jesus making love to them and engage in “pillow talk” with him. Even male members of the group do this (albeit while imagining themselves as women). It’s really weird and a little creepy, and it’s the kind of thing that could only have originated in the 60s (which in fact, it did). They use terms like “golden seeds” to mean inspiration from God, and “sucking in the spirit” to mean praying for guidance, and the double entendre is entirely intentional on their part.

That would be the very same cult in which River and Joaquin Phoenix's parents were involved; and which is the basis for their family name (which they chose for themselves after they escaped the cult because they considered their family "reborn" from the ashes of its previous existence just like a phoenix).
