Song Parodies -> "Disneyland"

Original Song Title:

Original Performer:

Ben Folds

Parody Song Title:

Parody Written by:

Ian Rowlins

The Lyrics

take a walk
through the gates you go and never stop
past junk food stores and mascots
copyrighted friends on every block
and watch employees grow
more disgruntled as you go

through the streets
a goofy haunted mansion on a hill
with ghosts of failed attractions
all that money lost it does seem tragic
you've yet to see the "magic"

in a shop
broadcasts of a dead man on tv
conveys his manifesto
grand ideals abandoned long ago
for profits garish glow

for Disneyland

hours in line
and the suns goin down
a theme song blares from above
the one you loved
you loved that song
till you were forced to hear that song all day long

through exhausted bloodshot eyes you see them all
from fifty feet away
thats as close as you are going to get
to end your day

at Disneyland

Simply amazing! Sorry that I missed this one! I heard the recording of this today and was utterly impressed. Where did you get the backing track for this because I love Ben Folds Five!!!
