The rail gun race. BAe was first, General Atomics was second, and Russia is third. UK wants theirs for ships and SPGs. US want theirs for Zumwalt destroyers and truck mounted field guns. Russia wants to build superpowerful ones to launch satellites or to shoot enemy satellites down.

"Needs More Juice" sounds like me that one time the roast I had for dinner was too dry! 455
Jon, after a few shots of a railgun, your roast would cook in seconds. Overheating is a big problem with these beasts that use on avg 5 million amps to operate! The projectiles move so fast that fire belches around them as they leave the barrel, making them look like comets until the atmosphere cools them down on the way to the target.
