I think everyone is looking at this classic "battle" all wrong, the real question might be "Who was the most annoying plot carrying character - Wesley Crusher on Star Trek or Jar-Jar Binks on Star Wars?

Wesley had moments of brilliance in engineering with Geordi and Data. Mesa tinkin' it be Jar Jar. He should have been fed to a big Goober Fish!!!

Just think of the Super Star Destroyer Executer at over 8 miles long with 5000 turbo lasers and ion cannons just ramming a Borg Cube. No competition. I'd like to see Kirk or Picard face Admiral Thrawn or Admiral Daala. Jedis also put Sulu's swordsmanship to shame.

I prefer Star Wars myself but that maybe due to the fact that I still haven't seen much of Star Trek as for more annoying character meesa think you gotta be really annoying to outdo Jar Jar! 455
