Note: in WW2 the British used 11 ton Grand Slam bombs against German concrete targets like the U-boat pens. Not very effective. The Germans tested a single 17 ton bomb which caused the Me-323 Gigant to break-up and crash after released. The US developed the 22 ton T-12 Cloudmaker but never used it.
