The official story of Martin Bormann's death is cast into doubt according to declassified documents and eye witness sightings in Argentina as Simon Wiesenthal believed. He didn't die at Lehrter Station hit by Soviet artillery off a Tiger tank. His remains were NOT found by the Soviets and at Nuremberg, he was found guilty of war crimes in absentia as the hunt was on. The 1965 excavation recovered nothing, but in 1971 a second supposedly did which was backed by so-called DNA and then the body was cremated and the ashes disposed of over the Baltic. The series "Hunting Hitler" refutes that by pilot testimony that he was flown out of Berlin on April 29th with Hitler in a Ju-52 to Tonder, Denmark, then a switch to another transport to Spain, and U-boat trip to Argentina where multiple witnesses identify him postwar. It is suggested that after his death prior to 1971, that the remains were shipped back to West Germany and the second excavation was falsified. The body was destroyed, but a review indicated 1950s dentistry and no trauma wounds from artillery on the body. That's why they cremated him and dumped the ashes. Like Hitler and Eva, he made it out and died in Argentina.

I find it amazing that Hitler's pilot Baur was with Bormann's group but conveniently were separated and he got shot in the leg and taken to hospital where he was captured by the Soviets. There were no aircraft within Bormann's supposed route, so why did Baur go when he could have taken the under bunker exit to the U6 subway and either followed the side tunnel to Templehof or took Exit 5 to the Tiergarten and Hohenzollerndamm makeshift airstrip? He could have piloted any small aircraft out from April 29th to late April 30th!
