"What Was I Thinking, By Getting Drunked Up?"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Inspired by one of my friends when she vowed to never drink again after a hard night of partying.
What was I thinking, by getting drunked up?

Verse 1: So many shots, downed in one minute
Can barely see, in the crimson car
So hard to speak, cuz I am so drunked up
Lights and sounds, so soon become
Irritants, like a cummerbund
This is not fun, being drunk
And I say….

Chorus: What was I thinking, by getting drunked up?
I hate this feeling, I wanna throw up
Tell me why, I put that stuff in my mouth
My liver health is going south

Verse 2: Toilet bowls are my best friends
Porcelain, it never ends
This certain trend, forever sends, if only
People down to the hospital (hospital)
I’ve no control
Of my body now
I get withdrawal, you ask why
And I say….

Chorus: What was I thinking, by getting drunked up?
I hate this feeling, I wanna throw up (Tell me why)
Tell me why, I put that stuff in my mouth
My liver health is going south

Bridge: There’s a strange feeling
In my stomach right now
Surrender the drink, bottle glass tall
How can it be that I’m drinking at all
I am a Catholic
I’m glad I’m missing this party
Tell me why, I put that stuff in my mouth

Chorus: What was I thinking, by getting drunked up?
I hate this feeling, I wanna throw up (Tell me why)
Tell me why, I put that stuff in my mouth (in my mouth)
My liver health is going south

Chorus: What was I thinking, by getting drunked up?
I hate this feeling, I wanna throw up (Tell me why)
Tell me why, I put that stuff in my mouth( in my mouth)
My liver health is going south

Once got wasted just so see how it feels. It was bad so I know the experience, got a terrible headache. Here's a hang over remedy, 555 pills made from rare herbs.

Decent but your parodies have improved a whole hell of a lot since you've posted this one. A few funny lines but not your best.

(Artistry) Agreeance with Matthias here. Not bad, but not like the more recent things you have cooked up.

(Artistry) Additional funny examples of the effects of overimbibing would help on this one. Bonus points for using "cummerbund" though.

(Artistry) Not bad, but some lines were a bit confusing to me, and the repeated choruses didn't help matters. Like Rex, I gotta give kudos for working in "cummerbund". Still, this is worth a 555, but the parody still isn't one of your best.

Uh. . .moderation. . .I will agree with the general consensus. . .but I like the transposition of your lyrics considering the original was a sappy love song.
