The Lyrics

If you know something about Superman, you probably know more than I do. This is my second parody of Avalon.
Stanza I.
Part of him is the kryptonite,
Part of him is the x-ray vision,
But I say my favourite part is really the bulletproofness.
Sometimes we think he's dead,
Sometimes he's never bled.
But we're always wondering 'bout his streak of aloofness.
We struggle always
To find ways
To offer support.

But Superman, he always wins;
He saved us once and will again.
When he's around, Lex Luthor never grins
'Cos Superman always wins.

(Spoken) Superman...he always wins.

Stanza II.
He was raised in a Kansas town,
Though he comes from the planet Krypton.
His other side Clark Kent is a mundane newspaperman.
The Daily Planet tells lies
'Bout what happens in the skies
When Superman fights Lex for the whole race of man.
We still fight,
We still kill,
We still fall prey to Luthor's troops.

In him is all mankind's fate.
On him hinge all hopes so great.
We must show him our respect.
He'll show Luthor who's correct!
All this time
I did sing,
I ain't said
That Superman does. (He does...)

(Refrain 2x)

He always wins...he always wins...
