Parody Song Title:

The Lyrics

Parody of The Music of The Night from The Phantom Of The Opera soundtrack. I wrote this parody back in the early 90's and it's kind of ironic because, over the years, my own drinking habits resulted in some major consequences. I am happy and proud to say that I have been clean and sober since January 1st, 2008. If you would like to check out my recording of this parody, just go to www.soundclick.com and search for Professor Incubus. Then scroll down to the bottom of the list of my parody songs.
Whiskey, Bourbon,
Sweet Intoxication
Room is spinning
Disorientation

Go on drink your fill
You're a human whiskey still

Mumbling, slurring,
No communication
Stumbling, Bumbling,
No coordination

The next shot that you swill
Will make you violently ill
And that, my friend, is really not too bright
Cause then you'll be the booze hound of the night

Drink your wine and then climb into your brand new car
Lose control and then slam into a tree
Then the cops will take you where you ought to BEEEEEEEE
In your pants, then you will start to pee

Slowly, surely,
They'll take you to the station
Rudely, Shrewdly,
Police interrogation

Blow into this tube you obnoxious drunken boob
Throw his ass in jail and lock him up real tight
Cause you've become The Booze Hound of The Night

Drink your wine and then climb into your brand new car
Lose control and then slam into a tree
Then the cops will take you where you ought to BEEEEEEEE
Only then can your brain start to see

Trembling, Shaking
The DT's will surround you
Hallucinating
Visions may abound you

The next shot that you swill
Well it might just get you killed
And driving home is really not too bright
So please don't be The Booze Hound of the NIGHT!!!!

Solo section

You alone must make the choice tonight
So please don't me The Booze Hound of the NIGHT!!!!
So from the bottom of my heart, PLEASE don't be the booze hound of the night! DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE!!

The TV and movies make fun of drunks, but there is nothing funny about someone losing control of his brain and bladder at the same time. I listened to your website. Congratulations on breaking a bad habit, making the roads safer, and making a good song to listen to.

It just sucks that I didn't see the light sooner. All of these friggin DWIs have cost me a ton of money - money that could have gone to much more useful purposes. Also, if it wasn't for alcohol, I would not have any criminal offences.

I might add that the thousands of $$$ that I spent on alcohol over the 22 years that I drank could have gone to much better use.
