I kinda get the feeling she may have been Han and Leia's daughter, the hints are there but who knows.
Max, in the SWU Rey is twin Jaina Solo to their son Jacen Solo. In the books, they were moved often due to attempted assassination. Leia never was trained in the Force with this new trilogy and apparently JJ Abrams changed his name to Ben Solo out of nowhere. Everything hints at Leia's daughter. Her odd hairstyle, her knowledge of starships and instant taking to Han and the Falcon, her use of the blaster Han gave her which is a more modern type of his, her agony over his death, etc... But also to Luke. Why is she on a desert planet Jakku that looks like Tattooine? Why is she dressed like young Luke? Why does Maz want her to have Skywalker's light saber and why the same tunnel vision leading up to the First Jedi Temple where Luke is waiting? Abrams likes to change things as he did for the Star Trek universe and timeline. Same for Star Wars. Poe Dameron could also be Skywalker's son but in the SWU books was born before the Battle of Endor, so no. His parents are Shara Bey and Kes Dameron from Yavin 4. There is a strong connection between Kylo Ren (Kylo of the Knights of Ren) and Star Wars is a family fight. She sensed not only his weakness in comparison to his Grandfather Darth Vader (Anakin Skywalker) but also that he had a balance of Light and Dark in him. Han felt he could turn him back to Light too. But Ben went the other way. Rey could have finished him at Star Killer Base but left him alive. She meets Luke but Luke did not accept the light saber from her because he doesn't want to train her and fail as he did with Kylo. To be continued. Rey most likely will fall in love with Finn. Abrams did the interracial thing in Star Trek with Uhura and Spock which raised some eyebrows (pun intended)! Only 17 mos to Episode VIII :-))
oh yeah "A Goofy Movie" I need to watch that again it's just chock-full of good songs like this one! not too mention it's surprisingly emotional for a movie about GOOFY of all people! as for the new "Star Wars" movie I'm still waiting for the DVD release on that one but I'm glad to hear so many people like it! 5's
