I hear that the remake for "The Creature from the Black Lagoon" has restarted again with a writer and Scarlett Johansson offered lead female role. This was April 9, 2015. Have always been upset that John Carpenter's version never got made. Other proposals also failed under the title "The Black Lagoon." Set in the Amazon it concerned pharmaceutical dumping and would feature a search team looking for the fabled pyramids in the Amazon. You can guess what happens next to the female leader of the expedition ;-)
Hilarious. My favorite movie is probably still the '98 Godzilla, although I also liked the one 2 years ago (I've seen parts of the Japanese ones on tv too). 5's
John, did you know that there's talk of a Marvel Godzilla movie for 2020? In the'70s Marvel had a Godzilla comic and both the Avengers and Fantastic Four fought Godzilla plus others. Btw, "Godzilla 2" comes out on June 8, 2018.
