The Lyrics

This is my entry into the Ace of Base contest.
Hot on the courts
And the players are throwing
The ball around
Rutgers is smiling
Their victory soars very high
Don Imus was saying
Oooh! What did he say?!
Things he shouldn't have said
It's too close for comfort
His words have got
Right out of hand

CHORUS:
And it’s poor (poor) Don Imus
He should have left it alone
But it’s poor (poor) Don Imus
Now he’s done

Women responded
His friends fell away
And he’s on his own
Just too hot to handle
So C-N-N told him to go (let him go)

CHORUS:
And it’s poor (poor) Don Imus
He should have left it alone
But it’s poor (poor) Don Imus
Now he’s gone- ‘cause he pissed off everyone

And it’s poor (poor) Don Imus (With Jessieeeeee)
Jessie and Sharpton are gunning for
Poor (poor) Don Imus
Now he’s done

Don Imus got what he deserved, and you captured it beautifully. . .high marks from me. I know CNN will have to pay him because of free speech, can't disagree, but better to pay him off and get rid of him than let him on the air, clearly you agree:)

Unfamiler with the current event, which is sad, because this was a really well paced parody, and I would have enjoyed it more if I knew what you were talking about.

(Artistry) Nice work - I liked the way you fit in a couple of the original lines.

(Artsitry) Syncronos, this was great...everytthing was in sync (haha) with the OS...except for one BIG problem. Imus was fired from CBS Radio and MSNBC--not CNN! Points subtracted for your pop culture booboo.:(

(Artistry) I live under a rock, so I don't know what this parody is about, but it paced incredibly well!

(Artistry) Good currrent topic, but I think that you used a bit too much of the original song. Even if it does fit - it doesn't seem very creative.

(Artistry) Well, It was well paced except you forgot a line after "Now he’s done" and the obvious CNN wasn't the correct organization that canned him, that said--I thought it was fairly well written, and I'm sure after you've been back for awhile, you'll be back up to the top of your game--this one wasn't your best work I'm sure, but it wasn't bad either.
