The Lyrics

This is my entry into the Artistry WHAM round...to get the true feel, you must imagine that eerie saxophone melody replaced with a pair of bag pipes...Also, for the uninitiated: regimental = going commando...
I feel so unsure
As I take my pants and leave the dre-ssing room door
Feeling kinda shy, mirror doesn’t lie
But this thing is comfortable…tell my pants goodbye

I'm never wearing pants again
Kilted pleats have got such freedom
Feel a breeze on my rear end
It’s feeling kinda cool

I’m puttin’ off denim for a tartan blend
To wear this kilt that feels like heaven
So I'm never wearing pants again
My days with pants are through

I could never mend
My tattered pant legs…or their frayed ends
Since I’ve got the guile…’hang around’ a while
Just forgo those boxer briefs…go re-gimental* style!

I'm never wearing pants again
Kilted pleats have got such freedom
Feel a breeze on my rear end
It’s feeling kinda cool

Shoulda known better than to peek my friend
(Shoulda known better…yeah)
No boxer briefs will block your vision
‘Cause I'm never wearing pants again
My days with pants are through
…Even without my drawers on…

Tonight I feel a breezy draft
You want pants on me? Are ye daft?
Trust me, it's better this way
Don’t have no tidy whities getting in the way!

The freedom feels so good, my brother
So try it now! You’ll want no other
And THROW those ugly pants away!
I say!

I'm never wearing pants again
Kilted pleats have got such freedom
Feel a breeze on my rear end
It’s feeling kinda cool

I’m puttin’ off denim for a tartan blend
To wear this kilt that feels like heaven
So I'm never wearing pants again
My days with pants are through

(No pants are on!)
NO pants are on!
(No pants are on!)
To wear them now feels wrong!
So wrong! Might as well be wearing a thong…
