The Lyrics

Missed the Warren Zevon thing on Friday, so here's my belated entry. Didn't believe it at first that the Crown Prince of Sa'udi Arabia would do something Soddam Inseinn, but it appears he did
I saw some Wahhabs with some shiny scalpels in their hands
Walking the streets of Istanbul in the rain
They were looking for a place called "The Consulate"
Gonna serve up a big dish of intense pain

Sa'u'u'ud, Wahhabs of Riyadh
Sa'u'u'uu'u'u'd
Sa'u'u'ud, Wahhabs of Riyadh
Sa'u'u'u'u'u'u'd

You hear some howling behind an embassy door
Better ignore that din
Little Khashoggi disassembled late last night
Wahhabs of Riyadh again

Sa'u'u'ud, Wahhabs of Riyadh
Sa'u'u'u'u'd
Sa'u'u'ud, Wahhabs of Riyadh
Sa'u'u'u'u'u'd

He's the heavy handed prince
Who likes to dice and mince
Lately he's been acting up in Turkey
You better watch out for your head
You just might lose it, Fehd
Wallah, I'd like to meet his surgeon

Sa'u'u'ud, Wahhabs of Riyadh
Sa'u'u'u'u'u'ud
Sa'u'u'ud, Wahhabs of Riyadh
Sa'u'u'u'u'u'u'ud

Well, I saw MBS plotting with the King
Doing the Wahhabs of Riyadh
I saw MBS Al Sa'OOD getting shunned by the King
Rue-ing the Wahhabs of Riyadh
I saw a Wahhab enforcing Shari'ah law in Deera Square*
His stroke was perfect

Sa'u'u'u'u'u'u'd .. Wahhabs of Riyadh (Draw blood)
Sa'u'u'u'u'u'u'u'u'd ....
*Public square in Riyadh where executions by beheading take place

Nice job CML. "Werewolves"is not an easy song to pace. As to the Prince's culpability, well, governing a bizarro place ruled by strictly insane interpretations of religious teaching's could easily lead a "Crown Prince" to embrace barbarity in the name of "Order".

Well... The Warren Zevon thing was to take a Non-Werewolves of London song and turn it into a song about werewolves... But you were kind of close... As in the opposite of the rules haha

Well that explains a few things; like why no parodies of "Werewolves of London" ;-D .... I kinda-sorta took note of that, but drew no conclusions from it

The OS is a good one for political parodies.

^^^^I think so, Two-ie. I did another a few months ago called "Wahhabs of London." Werewolves and Wahhabs sound alike and frequently act alike
