The Lyrics
This is the 4th Freddy Krueger parody of a song from the ‘82 album “Abominog.” The reason why I typed “Uriah Heep/John Cougar Mellencamp” is because John Cougar Mellencamp, known for his #1 hit “Jack & Diane,” did “Hot Night in a Cold Town” before Uriah Heep did, back in the early ‘80s. In other words, this FK parody can also be credited as my first song parody of a southern rock song, which is the song by John Cougar Mellencamp. I do not listen to country music, but I like southern rock. Anyways, this FK parody is where Jesse checks himself in a rundown hotel at a new town, where he sees another Elm Street. He would be like a couple blocks away from that Elm Street.
I got off the bus...with all my bags
Checked in the worst hotel
There’s too many cockroaches
Crawling all over walls and ceilings

I hear wailing of ghostly sounds
Of dead children
