The Lyrics

This is the first Freddy Krueger parody of a song from the ‘82 album “Abominog.” This is also the beginning of the 3rd and final chapter of my Elm Street album trilogy. The previous two completed chapters of that Freddy Krueger trilogy are “The Burn of the Freddy Guy” and “Guy Who Won’t Die,” which are album parodies of a couple of Alan Parsons Project albums. Since it has been impossible for me to parody another Alan Parsons album as the third chapter, I figured that Uriah Heep would be a good choice. Uriah Heep rose to popularity in the ‘70s before they became a cult band in the ‘80s. However, their cult album “Abominog” was a commercial success in the early ‘80s because of updating to a contemporary heavy metal style. I listened to that ‘82 album numerous times. So anyways, the main protagonist in this 3rd and final chapter of the Elm Street trilogy is Jesse, the same protagonist in the first two chapters. In the first two chapters, Jesse is a teenager. In this 3rd chapter, Jesse is in his early 20s. Here is the following Freddy Krueger parody, which is a view from Jesse.
Something is wrong in here
I hear a demon’s sound
Something’s scratching
It makes my ears ring
Something evil is around

Seems I can’t sleep tonight
I have been scared all day
Of what may be a fright
Nightmares are in the way

It has been a few years
Since Freddy was around
I have killed him off twice
He was not nice
All his slashing sounds

Something is wrong
Here in this Elm Street house
Something is wrong
Sounds like a monster mouse

Something is wrong in here
Has Freddy returned again?
Freddy was slashing
Freddy was killing
Many teens and children

Something is wrong
And it does not feel right
Something is wrong
Here on Elm Street tonight

Something is wrong
Bad smelly skeletons
Something is wrong
I hear shrieking demons

Something is wrong in here
Could Freddy be around?
I tried burning him
And burying him
Right under the holy ground

Freddy Krueger was a fright
Twice I killed him away
He may return tonight
To try to kill me away

Something is wrong
Here in this Elm Street house
Something is wrong
Looks like a haunted house

All his slashing
It makes my ears ring
I thought, I thought
Freddy was no more
My head feels so sore
Fear Freddy, I fear Freddy
One song parody down. Nine more to complete the album parody. I hope to have this 3rd Freddy Krueger album completed by Halloween 2014.
