The Lyrics

I live in Coquitlam, British Columbia, where Terry Fox used to live. I know many people who met him, and most of them were my teachers.
He's a good man, loved his family
Loves running and Canada too
He's a good man, crazy about helping
Had a brother and a sister too

It's a long day in Port Coquitlam
There's a library and a high school
He's a good boy, they're named after him
He's a good boy for breaking records

And he's free, free runnin'
Yeah he's free, free runnin'

All the cheerleaders walking along the highway
Move up and down in Newfoundland
All the bad boys are skateboarding and biking
All the good girls are putting on make-up

And he's free, free runnin'
Yeah he's free, free runnin'
Free runnin', now he's free running, now he's
Free runnin', now he's free running, now he's

He wants to run free over the nation
He wants to run till he falls in the sky
Gonna free run out to Vancouver
Gonna dip his leg in BC

And he's free, free runnin'
Yeah he's free, free runnin'

Nice lyrics is this about someone you know or yourself? The letdown I think is the fact that your parody is not funny, something which I believe parodies are all about. But you didn't write a complete crap of a song that attempted at being funny. So congratulations.
