Parody Song Title:

The Lyrics

This was one of the funniest songs I had ever heard! It took me years to understand Mr. Dolby and the other performer was saying "Science" instead of "Silence!", though! This parody is sort of a tribute to those who try to teach science to a bunch of students who . . .well, would rather be somewhere else, maybe??
Really a commotion/All of us so happily
Then we saw the teacher/Not so glad to see us, she,
OHHH—she told us to keep silence
“You must all keep silence!”
Then started with geology

When I’m listening to her/”Saying “must keep silence, silence”
I keep drifting far away/”Saying “must keep silence, silence”

Ohh-we loved all the commotion/Walking down the halls, you see
Teacher—different notion/Wanted in control to be
Yeah, she told us to keep silence
And kept with the geology

When she’s standing by the board/Saying “must keep silence, silence!”
I wish I was out the door/She says “must keep silence, silence”!

Quieting commotion/Standing there for us to see
Our brains are now in motion/Time for thinking ser’ously
She told us to keep silence
“She told us to keep silence!”/Explaining some geology

“Oh my goodness, Miss Teacher! You’re intelligent!
I-I can’t believe it
She’s doing it again!/She’s explaining all the stuff but I don’t understand it!
All my rocks and piles/and notes, etc.,/questioning some notions

Ahh-time for a commotion/She turned her eyes away to see
Classroom time was over/Out of there we soon would be
True—she told us to keep silence
“She told us to keep-silence”/She told us to--
