The Lyrics

Dedicated to all Pokemon GO Addicts
When I wake up, I know what I'm gonna do
I'm gonna go out and catch a Staryu
When I go out, I know what I'm gonna do
I'm gonna see if I can find a Sandshrew
In the river, I know what I'm gonna do
Find some Magikarp, and find Dratini too
If I'm jogging, I know what I'm gonna do
Hatch an egg,and hope that it's a Pikachu

And I would walk five hundred miles
And I would walk five hundred more
Just to be the man who walked a thousand miles
To catch a Bulbasaur

When I'm working, I know what I'm gonna do
Evolve my Charmander when there's nothing to do
When I'm dating, I know what I'm gonna do
I'll catch a bunch of Eevee just for my boo
When I come home (When I come home), I know what I'm gonna do
Power up Golduck, and Gyarados too
When I'm winning, I know what I'm gonna do
Steal a bunch of Gyms away from the Blues

But I would walk five hundred miles
And I would walk five hundred more
Just to be the man who walked a thousand miles
To evolve my Ivysaur

Rattata (Rattata), Rattata (Rattata)
Da-da-da dun-diddle un-diddle un-diddle uh da-da
Rattata (Rattata), Rattata (Rattata)
Da-da-da dun-diddle un-diddle un-diddle uh da-da

When I'm lonely, I know what I'm gonna do
Go around, and catch a bunch of Exeggcute
And when I'm dreaming, I'm smiling under the moon
Riding Gyarados alongside my boo
When I marry (When I marry), I know what I'm gonna do
Kiss the bride while I catch a Geodude
And when I grow old (When I grow old), I know what I'm gonna do
Show my grandkids how to catch a Pikachu
I'll show my grandkids how to catch a Pikachu

But I would walk five hundred miles
And I would walk five hundred more
Just to be the man who walked a thousand miles
For the glory of Team Valor

Rattata (Rattata), Rattata (Rattata)
Da-da-da dun-diddle un-diddle un-diddle uh da-da
Rattata (Rattata), Rattata (Rattata)
Da-da-da dun-diddle un-diddle un-diddle uh da-da
Rattata (Rattata), Rattata (Rattata)
Da-da-da dun-diddle un-diddle un-diddle uh da-da
Rattata (Rattata), Rattata (Rattata)
Da-da-da dun-diddle un-diddle un-diddle uh da-da

And I would walk five hundred miles
And I would walk five hundred more
Just to be the man who walked a thousand miles
To power up Vaporeon
I do not own Pokemon or Pokemon Go Source/Inspiration of Lyrics

Don't understand Pokémon at all, but I do recognize the power of obsession. Wrote one of these parodies myself. 500 Miles is a cool melody and fits the subject quite well.

Ignore those highly negative scores. That's just a few people, or perhaps just one person, being idiotic I'll go with a 544. It's certainly not bad. You could have changed more of the lyrics. My son was really into Pokemon
