The Lyrics

Prehistoric mosquito's were probably just as big a pest to dinosaurs as modern day ones are to us now. Sometimes they get whats coming to them though (those pompous jerks!)
Verse 1: Buzzing, buzzing, buzzing ‘round the Cretaceous
A thirst for blood that’s rapacious
A thirst that makes you pugnacious
And flee from my lush oasis
Love that dino fluid
And that bothers you
Go cry boo-hoo
I’ll suck that blood from you
That’s what I’m gonna do

Verse 2: Drinking tons of blood all day
I’ll sip type-O and try type-A
I fill up my whole abdomen
To rest is where I’ll go
Trees are great for post-snack naps
I rest, how could I ever know?
That I would soon be glued
Oh man, I am so screwed!

Chorus: Ewww… gold and sticky
Ewww… hardens quickly
Ooo… trapped in tree sap
Frantically I’m flapping fiercely
Sticking in this syrup
Can you help me please?!

Man, dinos are mean…

Verse 3: Eons pass me, see Earth age
Don’t know how I’m preserved this way
I haven’t ate I’m so hungry
Yet blood’s still in my gut
Men found my tomb below below
Below Earth’s crust excavating
And drilled a syringe in my butt
And cloned more dinos from that stuff

Chorus: Ewww… I am moaning
You… dino cloning
Ewww… stuck in resin

This was a fun blast from the past. Original. My idea of what a parody is. Educational, too. I rarely give numerical scores, but I award you three golden drops of amber.

I was never a huge fan of the Jurassic Park movies, but this spoof gave me a chuckle. Although it's hard for me to sympathize with mosquito's...I think this one got what he deserved haha. Nice work!

I share your favorable opinion, Abbott, but "mosquito's" is possessive and you don't tell us what it possesses. Eats, Shoots and Leaves.

Nice parody with the point of view of the mosquito in Jurassic Park. I LOVE that movie so I'm happy to see a very fun tribute to it done!

Clever POV, and I'll be damned if anyone can ever use 'pugnacious' and "Cretaceous' in a parody ever again.

(Artristry) I haven't seen Jurassic Park, but I still got the reference, so no worries there. Fantastic little vignette about ancient mosquitoes, and I agree with Agri about the fancy words in the opening lines. 555!

Too bad those buggers aren't extinct.
