The Lyrics

All right! 200 parodies! As is de rigueur for such a milestone, I've decided to do something special for this one: This is a showcase for fragments of parodies that I have done or will do sometime in the future. Actually, I may not get to all of these, so I might let you folks build on one or two of these fragments. Please ask me first, though! Anyways, enjoy the parody! DKTOS?
Let’s do it!

Let’s do it!
Let’s do it!

[break]

Come on!
That’s right!
Let’s do it!
Let’s do it!

They call her Perfect Dark!
They call her Perfect Dark!

Ooh ooh, ooh ooh,
Ooh ooh ooh,
Ooh, ooh ooh ooh!
[repeat 4x]

You can shoot up the disco,
Burn that mother down!
Tear up those rhythms,
Get loose in your town!
But don’t, don’t, don’t, don’t, don’t forget-
Oh no!
Don’t, don’t, don’t, don’t, don’t forget-
No, no, no!

The Stars With .45s,
They will try to stay alive!
Hey, “We Can Shoot It Out”,
Their drive is “Burnin’ Out”!
“You Still Don’t Tell Me Why”
There’s “No More Fries”!

That’s right!
That’s right!
They call her Perfect Dark!
They call her Perfect Dark!

(Don’t, don’t, don’t, don’t, don’t forget!)

(Ooh ooh, ooh ooh,
Ooh ooh ooh,
Ooh, ooh ooh ooh!)

(Lancelot)
Won’t you take me to
(Lancelot)
Zeldatown?
(Lancelot)
Won’t you take me to
(Lancelot)
Zeldatown?

(Lancelot)
Won’t you take me to
(Lancelot)
Zeldatown?
(Lancelot)
Won’t you take me to
(Lancelot)
Zeldatown?

[“Take Your Time (Do It Right)” break]

I had some grand old times in Studio 54,
The music touched me as I got down on the floor,
And I thought the magic would last forevermore.
Oh-a oh!

[“Venus” break]

Scooby,
Ah, Scooby Dooby,
You are our favorite dog,
Let’s go solve some mysteries!

Scooby,
Ah, Scooby Dooby,
You are our favorite dog,
Let’s go solve some mysteries!

1,
2,
3,
4!

This happened once before,
It’s something I deplore,
No more fries!
Please, tell me this ain’t true,
There’s nothing right next to
My burger!

You might have saved young John Connor’s life,
But I’ll be back again!
‘Cause I came off an assembly line,
So I’ll be back again!

Told the girl she could do what she likes,
She said, “Baby, let’s ride a bike”.
I’m willing to let her show me something new,
But there is one thing that she can’t do:
Baby, you can’t drive my truck
‘Cause you’re gonna run amok!
Baby, you can’t drive my truck,
But hey, I still love you!

Listen, do you want to be a Seeker?
Do you want to catch the Snitch?
Whoa-oh-oh!
Quidditch
Is an awesome sport to play,
If you practice every day,
You can catch the snitch!
Oooh-ooh-ooh!

Bullets coming our way,
Do we have to keep on hiding ‘till their guns go dry?
Let’s just do it our way,
Take a risk while knowing that it’s likely we will die!
We can shoot it out!
We can shoot it out!

I should’ve used butter when I baked that cake,
And now I’ve got to throw that thing in the lake!
It tastes fake!
Hey, hey, hey!

He’s a real Superman,
Living in his Super land!

You’re gonna lose that car!
(Yes, yes, you’re gonna lose that car!)
You’re gonna lose-
(Yes, yes, you’re gonna lose that car!)
You’re gonna lose-
(Yes, yes, you’re gonna-)
Lose that car!

1, 2,
1, 2, 3, 4!

Jerry-
Jerry Seinfeld!
Jerry-
Jerry Seinfeld!
Jerry-
Jerry Seinfeld!
Sei-ein-feld!
Jerry Seinfeld!
Jerry,
Hey, your show is alright!

Don’t want this food anymore!
Don’t want this pig slop, that’s for sure!

Do-do-do down dooby doo down down,
Comma comma down dooby doo down down,
Comma comma down dooby doo down down,
Breaking glass ain’t cheap to do!

Dum-dum-dum dummy doo-wah,
Ooh yeah-yeah-yeah,
Oh whoa-oh-oh-aah,
Pwning the lonely,
Pwning the lonely.

It’s a Saturday night,
Everything’s all right,
I don’t wanna go!
(Can’t you see?)

Mack the truck,
Mackie,
Oh, Mack the truck,
You just ran outta luck!

Mack the truck,
Mackie,
Oh, Mack the truck,
You just ran outta luck!

Here comes that boogie down feeling again,
And soon my feet will be aching in pain!

She was afraid to go in to that mansion,
She was as nervous as girls have been.
She was afraid to go in to that mansion,
She was afraid of what she might have seen
(1, 2, 3, 4, tell the people what she saw!)

Ooh ooh, ooh ooh,
Ooh ooh ooh,
Ooh, ooh ooh ooh!
[repeat 4x]

You can shoot up the disco,
Burn that mother down!
Tear up those rhythms,
Get loose in your town!
But don’t, don’t, don’t, don’t, don’t forget-
Oh no!
Don’t, don’t, don’t, don’t, don’t forget-
No, no, no!

The Stars With .45s,
They will try to stay alive!
Hey, “We Can Shoot It Out”,
Their drive is “Burnin’ Out”!
“You Still Don’t Tell Me Why”
There’s “No More Fries”!

Ooh ooh, ooh ooh,
Ooh ooh ooh,
Ooh, ooh ooh ooh!
[repeat until fade]

Dylan - Congrats on your achievement, may you have many more! Nice idea and an honest and clever way to bring fragments into play. Bravo...a worthy "bicentennial"! ;D

A terrific parody this is. The original is from 1981 band you did a great job bringing it into today. That and you covered an extended version at that. May the Stars On 45 keep on burning in your mind. Here's looking forward to 200 more parodies.
