The Lyrics

Keep in mind, I don't hate ALL of today's music. Some of it's OK, even decent. So don't jump down my throat :). But I'm just expressing my thoughts about some parts of today's music that I don't like. Everyone's entitled to their opinions and tastes, and a lot of this music just isn't for me. I prefer 80s music, glam rock, classic rock, pop music, 90s & early 2000s r & b among other things. Also keep in mind "auto" means autotune in my parody. But there weren't enough syllables allowed in the song to put that. Enjoy, and please, don't get your panties in a twist over this parody. I have nothing against these artists. I just don't like their music.
No Miley
No Katy
No Rihanna
No Chris Brown
No listening, when this music blows

When this music blows (blows, blows, blows, blows, blows, blows, blows)
When this music blows (blows, blows, blows, blows, blows, blows, blows)
Hate this music....

No Kanye
No Bieber
No Demi
No Nicki
No Usher
No crap, oh no

And this music blows (blows, blows, blows, blows, blows, blows, blows)
And this music blows (blows, blows, blows, blows, blows, blows, blows)
Blows!

How can so much stuff, in such genres
Take so much talent right out, huh?
So much is bad about it
No doubt about it
Music's worse off with it
Blown eardrums!

Hate bullsh!t
Hate auto
No rhythm
Ears bleeding
This stuff, I hate, you know

And this music blows (blows, blows, blows, blows, blows, blows, blows)
And this music blows (blows, blows, blows, blows, blows, blows, blows)
And the music blows (blows, blows, blows, blows, blows, blows, blows)
And this music blows (blows, blows, blows, blows, blows, blows, blows)
And the word is no (blows, blows, blows, blows, blows, blows, blows)
And the word is BLOWS!

Here is the OS: I am extremely familiar with it since it came out when I was 2 and I grew up on Sesame Street when I was little. I'm now 29.

Here's the OS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DyupP2LxbZI Must have been tired last night because I meant to put it in the description box but I didn't do it *facepalm*

I started to have a sense of contempt over them modern pop songs ever since I got into swing and oldies music. I still do listen to some R&B, but not as much as I used do. 555 on the parody!

I don't blame you LPG :) A lot of it I really don't like since most of it is auto-tuned and just has no rhythm, real instruments, etc. Some of it is OK, but for the majority of it I can't stand it. I like a whole range of music. My husband (age 33) and I (age 29) both like jazz, classic rock, oldies, swing, glamrock, opera-metal (ie. Nightwish) some country, etc. I particularly like Seth MacFarlane's work which is big band/pop. I was surprised at how well he can sing. I'm used to his stuff being raunchy, but he sings Sinatra and Dean Martin-like. Thank you for the 5s :) To be honest I thought I was going to get a lot of angry comments and low votes for my parody, so to see 5s is surprising and nice to see. Thanks for reading, commenting and rating! :)
