The Lyrics

A PSA/parody about Facebook and social media creeps. Hopefully you enjoy it. OS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZzZCkz3YJek
Saw a message on my Facebook when I woke up today
A message from a creepo in my inbox, oy vey
I did not scream "Help me!" or slap my head
Though I looked at this message and this is what I said

I said: "Creepo, creepo, creepo, creepo eww eww eww"
Creepo creepo creepo and a toodly-loo!"
He said "hubba hubba hubba" so I responded "Ewww"
Do not hit on me or I will block you, ew!
Do not hit on me or I will block you, ew!

Blocked the creepo on my Facebook, no I am not scared
Then I cringed at screen and thanked the lord I didn't accept
Well, the creepo, screw you (eww), take a gong to the head
The creepo on the 'puter can not strike again

I say "Creepo creepo creepo creepo eww eww eww"
Creepo creepo creepo and a toodly loo
He went "Hubba hubba hubba" so I went block
Yes, Hubba hubba hubba is a creepo's song
Hubba hubba hubba is a creepo's song

Creepo creepo creepo creepo eww eww eww
Creepo creepo creepo and a toodly loo
He went "Hubba hubba hubba" and I blocked him, fast
Creepo creepo creepo creepo creepo creepo!
Yes, hubba hubba hubba is a creepo's song
Hubba hubba hubba is a creepo's song
(x2 or x3)

If your Facebook has a creepo in it, do not shout
This kind of situation does not call for freaking out
And do nothing, except to block him too
'Cause that creepo in your Facebook just might be eww

Saying "Creepo creepo creepo creepo eww eww eww!"
Creepo creepo creepo and a toodly loo
Hubba hubba hubba you must block him too
Creepo creepo creepo creepo creepo creepo creepo
Yes, if you hubba me then I will block you, eww
If you hubba me then I will block you, eww

Blocking "creepo creepo creepos!" is the thing to do
Every time you hubba us we'll block you, too!
Keep in mind I don't actually say any of this stuff IRL :P I get plenty of disgusting messages in my messages from creepos which gross me out. I just see a creepy message and immediately block the offender ;) But I wanted to keep it in the song to match the pacing and tone of the song :P "Hubba" is toning down what I get in these messages a lot, considering most of them aren't friendly or PG enough for Amiright

I grew up on Sesame Street when I was little (born in 86 and watched it from toddlerhood to age 6) so I know the OS very well, as well as The Word is No and the other classic stuff they used to show. They don't seem to have much in the way of quality stuff for kids on TV anymore. I don't have kids but if I ever do have them, I want them to watch good stuff like Sesame Street, not garbage.

I cant seem to recall this OS but remember The Word Is No. I ought to do some looking up and see if I get some Sesame Street parody ideas,

There was also "Mister Roger's Neighborhood" and shows like "Gumby" and Christian "Davy and Goliath." I saw a new version of Gumby a while back that was violent! Seems no show is immune to modern violent and sexual content. Remember the arguments about Ernie and Bert being Gay even though there was always a picture on the wall that said best friends? And, of course, the Tele-tubbies supposed Gay character! It's sad that so many kids shows now have questionable content or immoral messages.

I know what you mean Rob. It's sad. Morals and good values seem to be going down the toilet :( Ann- That's That's good that you were able to remember Put Down the Ducky and The Word is No (no no no no no no! ;) ). Did you end up remembering this song? I also loved Listen to the Heart of a Frog when I was little. I used to sing it when I weny to the doctors LOL

still couldn't recall the OS. I spent much more time watching Muppet Babies when I was little.
Annie - October 15, 2015 - Report this comment
I understand :) I don't really remember Muppet Babies, but I did grow up on Sesame Street and The Muppets. So I'm familiar with songs and the old sketches from Sesame Street-like Grover and that angry blue guy and that elevator sketch, whatever it was called as well as the songs mentioned above. The good old days, before life became difficult :) There were so many great shows on in the late 80s (though in 86, 87 and most of 88 I was in diapers and I don't really remember anything from 89. I vaguely remember some of 1990 but 1991-1993 I remember a lot better). My memory is hit and miss. Short term memory problems mostly because of my brain surgery but long term memory is good.
