I was in a supermarket the other day and I ran across an instant pasta salad product from Betty Crocker called "Suddenly Salad" And since I really loved the movie "Little Shop of Horrors" and the song "Suddenly, Seymor" (a great spoof of the Broadway showstopper tune, BTW) it shouldn't come as a surprise that I would essay this

(Husband)
Tear up that spice pack, mix it with mayonnaise
Here boil this pasta, drain that water away
Prep me a side dish as cool as the morning
Your salads were teh suck
But now they're OK

Please understand it's all strange and frightening, for an Amiright newbie .. these words that you say :-D. Seriously people (;-D again) I puttered around all week with this before I got it right. I knew that I nailed it cause I was laughing my ass off even as I was writing it. The key was to satirize the underlying premise of this product -- that tossing a salad is just so damn complex and time consuming that you need to have one prepackaged for you

Of course, the fact that my satirical point dovetailed perfectly with the character of Audrey, who was a complete ditz probably didn't hurt
