The Lyrics

Sort of a sequel to the monster that grew in the fridge in "Fridge Odour Troubled Walter"
I can't find the freezer any longer
I've heard that thing inside the fridge "meow"
What started out as mulch has grown much stronger
I only wish I had the strength to stop it now

I tell myself it can't hold out forever
I say there is no reason for my fear
Soon it will finish all the food it can find in there
I only hope that it won't work out how to open up my beer

And even as I wander in the kitchen late at night
I know it's gonna get me if I don't turn on the light
And it's getting closer than I ever thought it might

And I can't find the freezer anymore
I can't even open up the fridge door
It's time to ship the fridge away for sure
Don't feed it any more, no never

Cause I can't find the freezer anymore
I'm gonna show this creature blood and gore
And if I have to fight a whole new war
Go crashing through that door,
'Cause I can't find that freezer anymore

I found some bones: I think it was my cleaner
It's been running around - God knows on what it's dined
And it always seems that it's following me, now
But I'm hiding in the places that I hope that it can't find

And even as I wander in the kitchen late at night
I know it's gonna get me if I don't turn on the light
And it's getting closer than I ever thought it might

And I can't find the freezer anymore
I can't get to my little ice cube store
I ain't getting any monster munch rapport
No, no esprit de corps, no never

Cause I can't find the freezer anymore
Last night I swear I heard it snore
So I'm gonna drive over it once more
In my 4x4
'Cause I can't find my freezer anymore

Phil, I think you did far better than 3's , on this . It was an enjoyable read. I noticed straight 3's on lots of parodys today.

Phil, very funny--great job; do you think we can possibly squeeze more out of this subject-I'm afraid the answer is probably yes.

(ABCs) Inane. A fridge-mulch-creature? That can only equate to 5s.

abc -- I have a special fondness for your fridge/freezer parodies. One of the first funny little stories I read from a talented newbie on another forum, many years ago, was about the monster in his fridge and how nobody believed him... it had me in stitches from the first sentence and it ended with an addendum that the story we'd just read was found scrawled on a piece of paper that was lying next to a hat that was floating in a puddle of melted ice on the kitchen floor in front of the fridge. LSS, I later married that newbie. :) Great job!

Poor Walter. Set to celluloid, your pair o' parodies would make a fun sci-fi movie spoof. I like Pippin's part three. For part four, the cops can come to investigate and disappear in the laundry room. Call it "Washin' the Detectives."
